Children Education at SEEDS

Every student is a seed.
Together, they grow a forest.

After school is only the beginning. We grow the next generation of leaders in four areas: technology, finance, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Four areas where young leaders grow

Each area grows with the child. What a seed learns at 8 becomes what a sapling leads at 14.

Technology

Build with technology, not just use it.

  • SeedTyping, computer basics, and staying safe online
  • SproutCoding games with Scratch and digital art
  • SaplingBuild a website, use AI tools responsibly, start IT certification prep

Financial

Earn, save, give, and grow money.

  • SeedNeeds and wants, and the save-spend-share jars
  • SproutBudget a class project and learn how banks work
  • SaplingOpen a first savings account, learn credit and investing basics

Leadership

Speak up, serve others, and lead a team.

  • SeedIntroduce yourself, teamwork games, and Khmer heritage
  • SproutLead a team project and a community service day
  • SaplingPublic speaking, mentoring younger students, the Junior Board

Entrepreneurship

Turn ideas into real businesses.

  • SeedMake something and sell it at Market Day
  • SproutDesign a product and help run the student store
  • SaplingWrite a business plan and pitch it to real business owners

Moments they will remember

  • Market Day

Students make products, set prices, and sell them to family and neighbors.

  • Young Leaders Pitch Night

Older students pitch business ideas to local owners at the SEEDS Economic Forum.

  • Junior Board

Student leaders help plan activities and give SEEDS their ideas.

  • Mentor Circle

SEEDS graduates and business owners meet students to share how they got started.

  • Family Finance Night

Parents and children learn money skills together.

A forest is never one tree.

When our young leaders grow up, they come back to mentor the next seeds. That is how one classroom becomes a community, and one generation builds prosperity for the next.

  • Students are the seedsEvery child brings their own gifts. We help them grow roots.
  • Mentors are the treesGraduates and business owners give shade and show the way.
  • Families and sponsors are the soilYour support feeds every stage of growth.
