Where the SEEDS journey leads

Every SEEDS student grows step by step: social development, education, economic development, business, life style, legacy and generational prosperity. SEEDS International is the final stage — sharing what we have built with the world, so the next generation in two nations can grow too.

SEEDS

  • Education and training programs
  • Student exchange and school partnerships
  • Agriculture and food-security proposals
  • Financial education and business development

Cambodian Town

  • 15+ years leading the Prum Bayon Monument project
  • Team management for the Cultural & Travel Initiative
  • Travel arrangements for visitors to Cambodia
  • Community and cultural leadership in Lowell

Four projects, one vision

From a landmark in Lowell to farms in Cambodia, each project builds a bridge between people.

Project 01

Lowell, Massachusetts · In progress for 15+ years

Prum Bayon Monument & Welcome to Cambodian Town

A Prum Bayon monument in Lowell and a “Welcome to Cambodian Town” entry sign — new landmarks that make Lowell a stronger attraction for its own residents and for visitors from across the nation. Cambodian Town has worked on this project for more than 15 years.

  • A landmark for Lowell residents
  • A national attraction for visitors
  • A proud welcome to Cambodian Town

Project 02

Cambodia · First journey July 2027

Cultural & Travel Initiative

Bringing people from around the world to visit Cambodia. The main purpose is education: travelers learn Cambodia’s history, from ancient glory to renewal, and discover the beauty of the countryside.

  • Paid for by the travelers themselves
  • Trips managed by the Cambodian Town team
  • Travel arranged by Cambodian Town

Project 03

USA ↔ Cambodia · Starting summer 2028

Student Exchange

Students from the United States study in Cambodia, and students from Cambodia study in the United States — connecting classrooms, cultures and friendships across the world.

  • Study in each other’s schools
  • Learn side by side
  • Friendships that last a lifetime

Project 04

Cambodia · Launching 2030

Agriculture & Food Security

Building Cambodia’s farms so farmers earn more and families have enough to eat. Built on the SEEDS rice, fruit and bamboo proposals.

  • Rice industry: farming and processing at home
  • Fruit industry: durian, longan and more
  • Bamboo, plus a food bank to store harvests

The story behind SEEDS International

One seed from the war.
About forty years.
Now, the world stage.

SEEDS International is how the SEEDS journey gives back to the world. It began with one child who survived a war. It grew, step by step, into a school, a community and now a mission that reaches across nations.

  1. 01

    The Seed

1979. A child survives the Khmer Rouge genocide. His family flees through a refugee camp in Thailand, then the Philippines.

  2. 02

    Social Development

He arrives in the United States with no language, no money and no map for what comes next.

  3. 03

    Education Development

He learns English in the back of classrooms, then builds a career in technology.

  4. 04

    Economic Development

Skill becomes income. Income becomes the means to build.

  5. 05

    Business Development

He builds a business, then SEEDS: a training school that opens doors for thousands of others.

  6. 06

    Business Expansion

SEEDS grows to 15+ centers across eight states.

  7. 07

    Life Style & Legacy

Students become licensed professionals, business owners and leaders who lift their own families and communities.

  8. 08

    Generational Prosperity

Children begin where their parents finished. The seed has become a forest.

  9. 09

    Giving Back to the World

SEEDS International: a landmark for Lowell, journeys and exchange with Cambodia, and food for families who are hungry.

Every student can walk the same path.

Every SEEDS student starts where he started: with social development. Every student who reaches SEEDS International can duplicate this journey, and help others start their own. If everyone sees the vision, everyone can begin, from social education all the way to helping end world hunger.

One seed. One tree. One forest. Then a world that is better for everyone.

“A seed is small, but if it is planted in the right environment, it can grow into a tree that produces fruit for generations.”Senghap Roeun, Founder and Director, SEEDS
